Total Training's Broadcast Design Secrets with host Dean Velez

Dean Velez is a natural talent that makes designing in After Effects seem easy although I know it takes a lot of critical thinking in the planning stage to achieve these amazing lessons. He's a masterful teacher and I learned so much in this DVD. I'll watch it again and again until I absorb everything it has to offer.

The first lesson shows you how to create a news bumper with awesome effects of stormy clouds, lightning, and rain with 3D titling and a radar effect. You'll learn to create a background and foreground, storm tracker logo, a glow transition, and how to assemble the storm tracker news bumper.

In the second lesson Dean Velez taught how to create an opening title sequence with a walking spider and other unusual effects. This lesson shows how to weave a web, animate a stroke, a spider walking, to create the Web of Deceit logo, and how to assemble the whole package.

The third lesson was even more enlightening showing how to make a corporate identity piece that could be in the same category as Leonardo Da Vinci. Here we'll learn how to create a techno tunnel background, futuristic background, mosaic man and his elements, 3D guy, the company logo, and how to assemble it into a finished presentation.

In conclusion, anyone really interested in advancing their knowledge in After Effects should watch this DVD to learn from this master. Thanks Total Training for this very informative DVD.
