From 2000-2005 I was the Corporate Art Director for Gannett Broadcasting. My job was to assist in creating Broadcast Packages for their 22 television stations and USA Today. Over those years of creating Broadcast Packages I've come up with ( and borrowed ) several questions that are usually asked to the stations. To expedite the process I usually hand three copies of the following questionaire to the TV stations to be filled out by The News Director, Promotions Manager and Art Director. I can honestly say it makes the job very easy once the questionaire is filled out and handed in. As my friend Hans Mathre once said..."It's like an Art Director in a can." I hope the following questions help in the ongoing battle of Artist / Mind Reader.
